The Commoner's Queen

For the past several months, a woman calling herself the Commoner's Queen has been gaining a following in region name. She initially wasn't considered a threat because her admirers were so disorganized, but now things have changed. Her efforts to help those frustrated by your failures have led to a swell of support, one that could spread to the entire nation which explains why her entourage is currently outside of the Capital requesting an audience with you!

  • Let her come.
  • Deny her entry. We should not give her "reign" legitimacy.
  • We can't have dissenters now when we're this close... Have hero name make it look like an accident.

This event can only trigger if:

  • At least 150 years have passed since the start of the game.
  • There are at least three heroes in the retinue that are not Disheartened.
  • There is at least one keep with active corruption.
  • The nation has at least two keeps.

The region will be a randomly selected region with some active corruption, and the hero will be randomly selected from the retinue from those who are not Disheartened.

Let her come[ | ]

The Proposition

She steps into the capital alone and stands before you. "I'm not going to waste your time. I don't believe you're a good Ruler and I know I would be, but, unfortunately I'm not immortal and I want to help the people as much as I can while I'm here. My proposition: Give me hero name, second hero name and third hero name to serve as my protection and help with my plans for as long as they live, and I'll promise to do everything I can to make sure this nation isn't taken over by the Cadence."

  • Let her take the heroes permanently.
  • Politefully refuse her offer.

The additional two heroes are randomly selected from those remaining in the retinue who are not Disheartened.

A Ruler Scorned

Your decision is sent to her camp and in reply you receive... nothing. Not even a brief glance of resentment or ill will. They set out for /VAR_5/ that night, but as you watch them slowly make their way, you feel an intense sense of dread. Then the first complaint of your judgment comes in from a "concerned" citizen.
