Sickly is a hero trait.

Special acquisition[edit | edit source]

This trait may be acquired from these random events:

  • Complications: if the ruler chooses to try to save the baby during the troubled childbirth, there is one in three chance the child survives but with this trait.
  • The Mark: if Chalice water is poured on the baby, the baby has a 25% chance of gaining this trait.
  • The Ostrich, the first followup event, or the second followup event: if the player chooses to have the random hero try to kill the ostrich, there is a 50% chance all heroes will gain this trait. Note that attempting to kill the ostrich ends the event chain; only watching the ostrich can initiate the followup events.

This trait applies a persistent 90% multiplier to a hero's Health.
